Our Storm Sentinel System should become your first source for bus cancellation information. Operated by the administrator of the Windsor Essex County Student Transportation Services, it will notify the public and news media as follows:

	Under normal conditions the graphic at the top of our intro page will show that "ALL BUSES OPERATIONAL" and are not subject to delay due to inclement weather. Clicking on the graphic will return general information about the Storm Sentinel System.
	When circumstances such as bad weather forces the cancellation of buses the graphic on our intro page will change to red and display the message "System Alert" to reflect the fact that buses are experiencing more severe operational delays. Clicking this time on the graphic will give the students detailed information regarding interruptions in our bus schedule.

Due to the nature of web browsers and your computers ability to cache information it is recommended that you click the refresh button on your browser to confirm the status of the Storm Sentinel on the home page.

It is parental choice whether to put their child(ren) on the bus on days when transportation has been deemed operational.
